Anthea Turner gets the boot from Hell's Kitchen

Anthea Turner struggled on Hell's Kitchen according to chef Marco Pierre White

Anthea Turner became the latest celebrity to be sacked on Hell's Kitchen last night.

Marco Pierre White felt the former Blue Peter presenter, 48, had not developed her skills during her time on the hit ITV show.  

‘I've enjoyed working with you Anthea, you've been very consistent, very clean, very tidy,’ he said.

‘I like that, but you're exactly the same as the day you arrived. There's no growth and that's why Anthea you're sacked.’

Anthea’s husband Grant Bovey was given the boot earlier this week.

Meanwhile, a tabloid claims Marco, 47, plans to quit Hell's Kitchen when his contract expires next year to spend more time with his kids.

'He doesn't need the money and he never set out to acquire fame,' a source tells The Sun.
