Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia’s home raided by thieves

Singer and boyfriend slept as house was burgled

Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia was left shaken when the home she shares with boyfriend Nick Zapolski was raided by thieves.

Their £30,000 Audi car and £2,000 worth of electrical items, including a camera, iPod and laptop, were taken as they slept.

Gabriela, 25, and Nick, 26, didn’t know about the burglary at their home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, until the next morning.

'We noticed the camera had gone and when we looked outside we saw that the car had disappeared off the driveway too,’ he tells the Daily Mail.

'We were a little shaken by the burglary and keep thinking about what would have happened if we had woken up to confront the burglars.

'I just wonder whether they would have come upstairs and into our room if they hadn't found what they were looking for downstairs.'

Police believe the thieves gained entry through a rear door.

'The crime occurred on April 11 in the early hours when the occupier was present,’ says a spokesman.

'Personal property, a laptop and a black Audi A6 were taken. It's being investigated.'
