Jennifer Love Hewitt: It's great dating a friend

Actress has moved on from ex-fiancé Ross McCall

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy went public earlier this month

Jennifer Love Hewitt has spoken out about her relationship with Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy.

The couple started dating shortly after the actress split from fiancé Ross McCall in January.

‘We’ve been friends for a long time,’ says Jennifer. ‘I’ve heard about it - about being friends with somebody and it turns into something else and I’ve never really done that before and it’s been great.

'He’s hilarious and when you’re with somebody funny they’re always funny and it’s just great.’

Jennifer, 29, insists she didn’t have feelings for Jamie, 28, when she was with Ross, 33.

‘I was in a different situation,’ she tells Ellen DeGeneres on her chatshow.

‘I was in a different time in my life. There are people in your life who are just supportive and who just look at you and they see who you are and he really saw who I was as a person more than anybody had ever done in my whole life. I think that’s for me when I sort of went, “Oh, wow!”’
