Grant Bovey gets the boot from Hell's Kitchen

Businessman blames wife Anthea Turner for his eviction

Grant Bovey married former Blue Peter presenter Anthea Turner in 2000

Grant Bovey has become the second contestant to be evicted from Hell's Kitchen.

The businessman, 48, had been tipped as a potential winner by chef Marco Pierre White.

But he was given the boot last night for not being a team player.

Grant, who was competing against wife Anthea Turner, jokingly blamed her for his exit – after she claimed to be using sex to tire him out.

'Clearly it worked a bit too well because not only did we lose but I got the sack,' Grant tells The Sun.

'I was surprised [Marco] thought it was time for me to go. Anthea was upset.

'Being on the show together has made our relationship stronger and we can finally cook together without bickering, though I think she’ll force me to do a lot more at home now!'

Shameless star Jody Latham – who slated Grant and Anthea - was the first star to get the chop from the show.
