Jeff Brazier has been on holiday in Australia with sons Freddie and Bobby

Jeff Brazier's grandfather has killed himself after he was diagnosed with throat and mouth cancer.

Jack Smith, 81, was found dead in a tent in his garden in Hornchurch, Essex.

Jeff’s mum Janette discovered a gun beside his body and a suicide note on the kitchen table.

Jeff, 29, will now have to break the news to sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, who are still mourning the passing of their mum Jade Goody.

His spokeswoman said he’ll wait before telling the boys as they have just returned from a holiday to Australia.

‘They are very young and have had more than enough pain in the past few weeks,’ the rep tells The Sun.
