Samia Smith's husband Matt is a property developer
Coronation Street star Samia Smith and her husband Matt are expecting their first child.
The actress broke the news to family before her father Joseph lost his battle with cancer last week.
‘I am so pleased that we were able to tell my dad about the baby before he died,’ says Samia.
Samia's Corrie character Maria Connor is having a baby in July.
'I have been pregnant on screen for the best part of the past two years
and as soon as I get rid of the fake baby bump, I will have a real one,' she adds.
Samia, 26, is due to give birth in October.
