Farrah Fawcett weight loss claims dismissed

Pal Alana Stewart insists the actress is not 86 pounds

Farrah Fawcett was hospitalised earlier this month for internal bleeding

Farrah Fawcett has not dropped to 6.1 stone, according to her friend Alana Stewart.

The Charlie’s Angels actress’s son Redmond O'Neal, 24, told a judge during a hearing that his mum weighed 86lbs.

‘Redmond is young and overreacted a little,’ Alana tells People. 'Farrah has lost weight, but not that much. No, no, no.

‘I just saw her last night and she looked better. She had colour in her face and was talking and laughing.’

Farrah, 62, who is fighting cancer, threw a 68th birthday party for long-term partner Ryan O'Neal on Monday.

‘Ryan has really been there for Farrah in such a wonderful way,’ adds Alana.
