Madonna adoption appeal date set
Madonna has kids Lourdes, Rocco and David Banda
Madonna will appear in a Malawi court next month to appeal a decision blocking her from adopting 3-year-old Mercy James.
The case will be heard by three Supreme Court Of Appeal judges on 4 May, confirms official Joseph Chigona.
Madonna, 50, was denied custody of Mercy earlier this month because she is not a resident of Malawi.
Meanwhile, a tabloid claims friends have been telling Madge to dump toyboy Jesus Luz, 22, to strengthen her adoption application.
