Britain's Got Talent star Shaheen Jafargholi is a favourite to win the show

A 12-year-old contestant on Britain's Got Talent has impressed Demi Moore with his vocal skills.

Shaheen Jafargholi wowed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan on Saturday’s show after he sang Michael Jackson hit Who’s Loving You?

After watching clips of his performance on YouTube, Demi, 46, called him ‘awesome’.

‘Wow, this kid is something else,’ she wrote on Twitter.

Shaheen's now being tipped as one of the favourites alongside Susan Boyle, 48.

‘She has an amazing voice,’ he tells the Daily Mirror. ‘I don’t want to be a rival but if I won I wouldn’t be complaining.

‘I know I am a good singer and I think I can sing as well as anyone else in the competition. I enjoy doing it so much.’
