Umbrella singer to perform in Dubai

Rihanna will perform in front of 25,000 people in Dubai next month

Rihanna is set to return to the stage next month.

The singer will put on a show in Dubai on 28 May – her first gig in four months.

‘There will be over 25,000 tickets available,’ confirms Mary Rachelle Cherpak, a spokeswoman for Dubai Tourism.

‘They will be going on sale in the next couple of days.’

The location is still being kept quiet – although Mary reckons it will be an outdoor concert.

‘Normally they create a special stage in the desert for these events,’ she tells E! Online.

Rihanna, 21, pulled out of the Grammys in February after it was alleged ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, 19, assaulted her.

Her last concert was on 29 January in LA.
