Woody Harrelson: I mistook photographer for a zombie

Actor says he was still in character after wrapping movie

Woody Harrelson lives in Hawaii

Woody Harrelson has been accused of assaulting a photographer.

A paparazzo claims the actor smashed his video camera on the floor at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday.

‘I wrapped a movie called Zombieland, in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character,’ reads a statement from Woody, 47.

‘With my daughter at the airport I was startled by a paparazzo who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie.’

The Port Authority Of New York And New Jersey Police is looking into the accusation.

No charges have been made, says department spokesman Ron Marsico.
