Widower visits Big Brother stars final resting place
Tuesday, 7 April 2009
Jade Goody’s husband Jack Tweed has apparently told friends he wants to be buried beside her when he dies.
Jack, 21, visited her resting place at the churchyard of St Thomas’s in Upshire, Essex, with a pal yesterday.
‘This is a lovely spot,’ he told his friend. ‘It's so peaceful. It's what she wanted.’
Jade’s mum Jackiey Budden, 50, and Jade's best mate Kevin Adams were also at her grave.
‘We visited several churches in the area looking for the perfect spot,’ Jackiey tells the Daily Mirror. ‘We drove around for weeks looking.
‘The church offered us their last available plot but it was stuck away in the corner of the graveyard, so we asked for a spot on the field with the view.'
Jade, who passed away on Mother’s Day aged 27, was buried on Saturday.
Undertakers FA Albin & Sons confirmed the Big Brother star’s family bought a plot for two people.
