Antony Costa: I’m not sure I can delete Jade Goody’s number

Blue singer finds it hard to believe the star is gone

Antony Costa became close friends with Jade Goody when he was in the boyband Blue

Antony Costa can't bring himself to remove Jade Goody's contact details from his mobile.

The Blue singer was among mourners at the Big Brother star’s funeral on Saturday.

‘The weird and sad thing for me is that I still have her number in my phone,' he says. 'I'm not sure I can delete it just yet.'
 
Antony, 27, says he and Jade became firm friends over the years.

‘Jade lived 10 minutes from me in Essex and we always went out a lot socially and became really close,’ he tells This Morning.

'She liked my band at the time, Blue, and we got really friendly.

‘She used to come over for family barbeques and she held quite a few “handbag parties” at my house!

'And when my little daughter was born she was the first to come round to congratulate and help me out with my daughter.’
