Geri Halliwell's ex Fabrizio Politi: Posh is more my cup of tea

Geri Halliwell's ex Fabrizio Politi has spoken out about their split, saying her former bandmate Posh is the kind of woman he normally goes for. 

The Italian businessman claimed Victoria Beckham, 34, was 'more my cup of tea than Geri'.

The 36-year-old proposed to the Geri in December within days of meeting her.

But he was devastated when she had a sudden change of heart and dumped him last month.

‘I had been looking for a beautiful woman to settle down with and start a family, and I thought in Geri I had finally found that person,' he admits.

‘But out of nowhere there was a very bad situation between us and suddenly Geri no longer wanted to get married.’

Despite his heartbreak, Fabrizio doesn’t regret their short-lived romance.

‘Geri might have put me off falling in love but not forever,’ he tells the News Of The World.

‘Everyone thinks I am this playboy but really all I want is a wife and four kids.’

Geri, who is mum to two-year-old Bluebell with Sacha Gervasi, has previously dated Chris Evans, 42, and Robbie Williams, 34.
