Reese Witherspoon: I’ll buy Joaquin Phoenix’s rap album

Actress wants to support her Walk The Line co-star

Reese Witherspoon won a Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Walk The Line

Reese Witherspoon is confident Joaquin Phoenix’s rap career will be a success.

Earlier this year, the actor, 34, announced he was retiring from acting so he can concentrate on releasing a hip hop record.

And Reese, 33, who starred alongside Joaquin in 2005 film Walk The Line, is eager to hear his new tracks.

‘He's great,’ she tells The Sun. ‘He's very musical obviously. He knows what he's doing.

‘I'm not following his rap career but I'm sure his album, whenever it hits the stores, whenever it drops, I'm going to go pick it up.’
