Sienna Miller: Filming The Edge Of Love was torture

Actress had emotional scenes

Sienna Miller was pushed to the limit

Sienna Miller has likened working on 2008 hit The Edge Of Love to being ‘tortured’.

The actress says director John Maybury encouraged her to connect with her depressive character.

‘The hardest scene, emotionally, for me was when I was crying and pulling stitches out,’ she tells the Daily Mirror.

‘John locked me in a trailer with the saddest music I've ever heard and said, “Come out when you're ready” and kind of tortured me.’

Sienna, 27, starred opposite Keira Knightley, 24, in the drama.
