Liborio Molina regrets 'physical response'

Perez Hilton was punched

Perez Hilton has received an apology from the manager of the Black Eyed Peas.

Liborio Molina, who had charges of assault against him dropped in an exchange deal which included the statement of regret, assaulted the celebrity blogger outside a Toronto nightclub in June.

Mr Molina, 36, admitted punching Perez, 31.

'Yes, I regret the whole night,' he said.

His apology, issued through his lawyer, stated: 'I apologise for what I did on 22 June 2009, even though you engaged in highly offensive comments...

'I acknowledge that these kinds of issues should not be resolved through a physical response.'

Perez - real name Mario Armando Lavandeira - admitted criticising the Black Eyed Peas' new release and getting into a dispute with Fergie and will.i.am outside the Cobra Nightclub before the incident.
