Jade Goody's grandfather: I was hoping for a miracle

John Caddock walked Jade Goody down the aisle when she married Jack Tweed

Jade Goody's grandad still can't believe she's gone.

John Caddock, 70, never stopped wishing the Big Brother star would recover.

'I was hoping for a miracle, right up until she died,' he says. 'But it never came.

And he doesn't ever think he'll get over her passing.

‘I don’t sleep. So I just sit here and think about Jade. I will grieve for her forever.

‘I can’t express what the loss of that girl is going to do – and not just for me.

‘The world is going to be a sadder place without her.’

Jade's funeral will be held at St John The Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, on 4 April.

She leaves behind sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4.
