Chantelle Houghton: Jermain Defoe never said he loved me

But glamour model has fond memories of relationship

Chantelle Houghton and Jermain Defoe split after a romantic holiday in Dubai

Chantelle Houghton admits Jermain Defoe didn't say 'I love you' in the five months they were together.

The Celebrity Big Brother star, who split with the Spurs striker, 26, in March, thinks she was more committed.

'Four months into the relationship I knew I loved him,' she says. 'I wrote it in his Valentine's card.

'But he never said it back. We split up two weeks later.' 

But Chantelle, 25, isn't bitter about their break-up.

‘It was a satisfying sexual relationship,' she tells the News Of The World.

'I look back on it with fond memories, put it that way.’
