Footie hunk thought to be excited about new wheels

Cristiano Ronaldo has a love of fast cars

Cristiano Ronaldo has apparently forked out £500,000 on a new sports car.

The Manchester United hunk is said to have put his name down for a Koenigsegg CCX.

But Cris, 24, could have to wait almost a year to take delivery of the motor because it's hand-built to order.

'Ronaldo loves his supercars,' a source tells the Daily Star Sunday. 'He saw the Koenigsegg at a show last year and fell in love with it.

'He's beside himself with excitement knowing that it's on its way.'

The Koenigsegg will replace Cristiano's £200,000 Ferrari 559 GTB Fiorano, which was written off after a crash earlier this year.
