Kara Tointon in Strictly Come Dancing talks

EastEnders actress tipped to appear on the show

Kara Tointon is dating former EastEnders co-star Joe Swash, who won I'm A Celebrity in 2008

Kara Tointon is being lined up to star in Strictly Come Dancing.

The actress, who plays Dawn Swann in EastEnders, is said to be in talks with the show's bosses.

'Kara has made it no secret that she wanted to do strictly for years,' an insider tells The Sun. 'Hopefully we can make it happen.'

Kara, who won a special Sport Relief version of Strictly Come Dancing in 2008, will leave the soap over the summer.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One in September.
