Dancing On Ice winner proud to be following in actor’s footsteps

Ray Quinn started out as a child actor on Brookside

Ray Quinn reckons he’s got lots in common with John Travolta.

The Dancing On Ice winner has landed the lead role in the West End version of Grease, the film that launched John's Hollywood career.

‘There is a similarity between John and me because he played Tony in Saturday Night Fever before he played Danny in Grease,' Ray, 20, tells Now Online.

'It’s pretty cool that I’ve done Dancing On Ice and now I’ll be on Grease.

‘It’s been a dream since I was a child, so to get out there and play Danny Zuco is brilliant.’

Ray is also busy promoting the new SEA LIFE Sharkbait Reef attraction at Alton Towers.
