Jade Goody statue planned

Council wants to pay tribute to Big Brother star

Celebrity Big Brother star Jade Goody leaves behind sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4

Jade Goody could have a statue created in her honour.

The Big Brother star passed away on Mother’s Day after losing her battle with cancer.

Now officials in Bermondsey, where Jade, 27, used to live, want to pay tribute to her.

‘The council has plans for the Dickens Estate area where Jade grew up,’ Community Council chairman Bob Skelly tells The London Paper. 'And I’m sure we could do something.'

Jade's funeral will be held at St John The Baptist Church in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, on 4 April.
