The newly single star is 'in crisis talks'

Natalie Cassidy's had a difficult few weeks

After the shock news that her dream summer wedding’s off, Natalie Cassidy is trying desperately to work out her problems with her fiancé.

Spotted at a gym last Wednesday, Nat cut a lonely figure without her ring and looked tearful while on the phone to a pal.

‘She’s devastated about the wedding, but it just wasn’t working out between them,’ says a source close to Nat, 25, of her troubles with actor Ben Porter, 40.

'They still care for each other, but they’re in separate rooms in the house they share for the time being. But Nat’s been hurting without him and would prefer not to have to be single right now.’
