Rumours are rife that Liz's marriage is in trouble...
Sunday, 29 March 2009
While Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar put on a show of unity at London’s Dorchester hotel last week, there are growing reports that all is not well between the couple.
Among the issues causing a rift, according to sources in their circle, are their failure to have a child of their own and Liz’s bossy behaviour.
One source tells Now: ‘There was talk of Liz making a reality TV show about the organic farm she’s started up in Cirencester, but that’s so far failed to materialise.
'As a result, she’s been putting all her energy into running her home – and running Arun. That ranges from telling him what to wear to holding dinner parties with friends he doesn’t get on with.
‘Liz can be quite theatrical and demanding, which is wearing thin with Arun. He spends a lot of time travelling home to India, which he says is for business – but there’s talk that he goes there whenever he needs space. Added to that, Liz is keen for them to have a baby and tensions have risen because it hasn’t happened yet.’
The couple married two years ago in a lavish event lasting for days, with separate ceremonies in India and the Cotswolds. But if the increasingly loud whispers are to be believed, Liz, 43, and Arun, 44, are a long way from that fairytale now.
