Jade Goody’s mum was reduced to tears by a poem left outside her daughter’s home.
Fans have flocked to the Big Brother star’s Essex house since she passed away on Sunday.
And Jackiey Budden joined well-wishers yesterday afternoon to view floral tributes and messages on the driveway.
‘I just want to say thank you very much to all the people who have taken the trouble to bring them,’ she said. ‘I’m overwhelmed and so would Jade be.
‘I’m taking these up so they don’t get spoilt. I’m taking their cards and I’m going to reply to everyone.
‘It just shows how much people really did love Jade. The house is like the Chelsea Flower Show.'
As she read a poem entitled Mothers Never Really Die, the 50-year-old got choked up and was comforted by Jade's pal Kevin Adams and Living TV producer Kate Jackson.
Jackiey also paid tribute to her daughter’s husband Jack Tweed, 21.
‘Jack is being as strong as he can be, which is not easy, bless him,’ she said. ‘He’s a very, very lovely husband.’
