Robin Williams is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing a heart op on 13 March.

The comedian had a three hour aortic valve replacement procedure at the Cleveland Clinic.

He had the surgery after complaining of shortness of breath during his stand-up tour.

‘His heart is strong and he will have normal heart function in the coming weeks with no limitations on what he'll be able to do,’ says his Doctor Marc Gillinov.

‘A couple of hours after surgery, he was entertaining the medical team and making us all laugh.’

Robin, 57, will resume his Weapons Of Self Destruction tour in the autumn.

‘I'm thinking the next leg of the tour will be Weapons Of Self-Destruction And Reconstruction,’ he says.
