Emmerdale’s Luke Tittensor admits attack on teen

Soap actor to be sentenced for GBH on 29 April

Luke Tittensor spoke only to confirm his name and enter his plea

Emmerdale star Luke Tittensor has pleaded guilty to fracturing the jaw of a 16-year-old boy.

The actor, 19, admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm on the teen in February 2008 in Rochdale.

The victim, who cannot be named, required surgery on his jawbone following the attack, Bolton Crown Court was told.

Mark Ford, prosecuting, said: 'He was in hospital for three days and had a metal plate and screws inserted into the bone in order to repair the damage inflicted.'

Luke, who plays Daz Eden in the ITV soap, was given unconditional bail.

He is due to be sentenced on 29 April.
