TV presenter says their boys are his priority
Monday, 23 March 2009
Jeff Brazier had the heartbreaking task of telling his sons their mum Jade Goody had passed away.
Jeff, 29, waited for Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, to wake yesterday, before saying: ‘Mummy has gone to heaven.’
Jade died in the early hours of Mother's Day while husband Jack Tweed, 21, mum Jackiey Budden, 50, and pal Kevin Adams were at her bedside.
‘I am devastated to learn that Jade has sadly left us on Mother’s Day,’ said Jeff.
‘I am grateful the boys were able to say their goodbyes and spend that precious time with their wonderful mother.
‘Bobby and Freddie are my absolute priority now. I will be doing everything I can to be their rock and to give them all the love and support they need to get them through a confusing and upsetting time.’
It is thought Big Brother star Jade, 27, who set up a £4million trust fund for the boys before her death, will be buried with pictures of Bobby and Freddie.
