LeAnn Rimes rubbishes marriage claims made by 'cousin'

Star says she doesn't know mystery ‘relative’

LeAnne Rimes and husband Dean Sheremet have dismissed rumours their marriage is in trouble

LeAnn Rimes and her husband Dean Sheremet have hit back at rumours their marriage is on the rocks.

The singer, 26, has been falsely accused of having an affair with her co-star Eddie Cibrian, 35, on the set of their TV movie Northern Lights.

And on Friday, a mystery woman - claiming to be Dean’s cousin Pebbles - rang a US radio show and alleged the dancer wasn't upset about the reported infidelity because he's a closet homosexual.

‘He’s been gay since he was probably five,’ she said.

But the couple's spokesman tells Us Weekly: ‘There is no known cousin Pebbles.

‘Although Dean and LeAnn never knew they had a cousin named Pebbles, they are glad to hear that she has come out of the woodwork.

‘Dean and LeAnn are also interested in connecting with their other long lost family members: Fred, Wilma, Barney and Bamm-Bamm.

'So Pebbles, please let us know if you have spoken to them, too.’
