Star wanted the public to watch service on big screens
Monday, 23 March 2009
Jade Goody's publicist Max Clifford says the star's certainly put her stamp on her funeral plans.
The Big Brother star, who passed away at the weekend, wanted her fans to celebrate her life.
‘It will be very much a Jade Goody Production with Jade doing her own thing her own way,’ Max explains. ‘It will be a celebration, but of course there will be a lot of tears.’
The funeral, which will take place within the next 10 days, will be held at Church Of St John The Baptist in Buckhurst and mum Jackiey Budden, 50, will choose the music.
‘It will not be a closed service at all,’ photographer pal Danny Hayward tells the Daily Mirror. ‘Her wishes were that everybody who wanted to could come.
‘The church will be for family and friends only, but we have talked about relaying the service to people outside.’
A cortege will pass from Bermondsey to Loughton so fans to pay their respects.
It is thought her family want her laid to rest at Epping Forest Burial Park.
