Brett Luckens can’t believe Big Brother star is gone

Jade Goody passed away in her sleep in the early hours of Mothering Sunday

Jade Goody’s estranged brother is gutted he didn’t have a chance to say goodbye.

Brett Luckens had not been in contact with the Big Brother star for five years after he fell out with their mum Jackiey Budden, 50.

‘Me and Jade were cool — there was never a big problem between us, and I thought we would come into contact again and pick up where we left off, like we usually did,’ says Brett. 

‘I can’t believe she’s gone. I’m just devastated. I can’t begin to imagine what Jackiey is going through and I will do whatever I can to support her and the family.’

Dad-of-one Brett, 31, says his 'heart bleeds' for Jade’s boys Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4.

'My son is five, the same age as Bobby, and I’ve been looking forward to the day he meets his aunt and cousins,’ he tells The Sun.

‘He knows all about his Auntie Jade — I’ll make sure I keep her memory alive.’

Brett, who lives in Sydney, Australia, was given up for adoption by Jackiey when he was three — a year before Jade was born.
