Executive producer Al Jean thinks comic is ‘very funny’

Russell Brand could appear in The Simpsons if the show's bosses get their way.

Executive producer Al Jean has praised the 33-year-old’s comedic talents.

‘I would definitely be interested in writing an episode around Russell,’ he says.

It's also hoped US President Barack Obama, 47, can be lured into making a cameo.

‘We’d love to have Barack on the show,’ producer James L Brooks tells The Sun.

‘No president has agreed to do it yet but we’ll keep asking.

'We’re putting all the right signals out.’

Meanwhile, Russell has been snapped wooing a mystery blonde in Sydney.
