Mena Suvari wants her wedding gown to conceal her body art.
The actress is preparing to tie the knot with music producer fiancé Simone Sestito.
But Mena, 30, is worried that her tattoos – which include a lion on her neck and upper back – might offend his relatives.
‘I think it would be considerate to his family to have my tattoos covered, since there are two nuns on his mother's side of the family,’ she tells New York Daily News.
The couple, who met at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2007, are hoping to exchange vows next year.
‘Simone and I really want to make it everything we always wanted it to be,' she tells OK!
Mena was previously married to cinematographer Robert Brinkmann.
