Jade Goody's mum Jackiey Budden is struggling to cope with her daughter's illness

Jade Goody’s mum cried as she left the Big Brother star’s home to visit the shops yesterday.

Jackiey Budden, 51, was snapped holding her head in her hands before being comforted by a friend.

The 50-year-old, dressed in pyjamas and a coat and wearing sunglasses, could be seen wiping away tears.

'Jade is taking medication at regular intervals,' she told paps after collecting a prescription.

'The mood in the house is very sombre.' 

Jade, 27, is being nursed by Jackiey and husband Jack Tweed, 21.
