Insiders say they're not back together

Rumours Rihanna and Chris Brown have been recording a duet are unfounded

Chris Brown and Rihanna are putting their relationship on hold, according to US reports.

They were rumoured to be back together, following allegations he assaulted her before the Grammys in February.

But insiders tell E! Online the pair they are taking a break.

Last week, Rihanna, 21, spent time with pals Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z at the Spotted Pig restaurant in New York.

Chris, 19, has been keeping a low profile in LA, where he is said to be working on his album.

He will appear in court on 6 April on charges of assault and making criminal threats.
