Shilpa Shetty: I’m not giving up on Jade Goody reunion

Bollywood star wants to see her one last time

Shilpa Shetty regularly calls Jade Goody

Shilpa Shetty is still hoping to meet with Jade Goody before she dies.

The Bollywood actress flew to the UK to visit the Big Brother star.

But she was told she was too ill to see her.

‘When I left for London on Sunday, I thought I’d be able to meet her but her condition has deteriorated,’ says Shilpa.

‘I feel bad because maybe I could’ve met her if I was here two days earlier.

'All I can do is pray. I’m not giving up hope of seeing her one last time.’

Shilpa, 33, and Jade, 27, met on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007.

‘I always felt we were connected in a strange way,’ she tells the Daily Star. 'She was a catalyst and the architect of my fame in Britain.

‘I always want to remember Jade smiling, the feisty strong gregarious Jade, a true trouper.’

Shilpa could not attend Jade’s wedding to Jack Tweed, 21, last month because of work commitments.
