Jade Goody: I'm gutted I missed Michael Jackson's call

Big Brother star is a huge fan of the singer

Jade Goody was born in Bermondsey

Jade Goody regrets not being awake to speak to Michael Jackson.

The singer rang the Big Brother star earlier this month at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

‘I love him,’ she says. ‘He got his people to call the hospital because he wanted to speak to me and wish me well. But I was asleep!

‘So he recorded a little answer phone message and Jack Tweed played it to me.

'He said, “Hi Jade, I’m thinking of you and hoping everything goes as well as it can.

'I want you to come and see me when I’m over.”’

Michael, 50, isn’t the only celebrity who has been in contact with Jade, 27.

‘I’ve also had a gorgeous bunch of flowers from Amy Winehouse and another from Robbie Williams,’ she writes in her new! diary.

‘It’s so sweet of all these people to take the time to show they’re thinking of me.’
