Singer wants son David Banda to have a sibling
Tuesday, 17 March 2009
Madonna has thought about taking in a second child from Malawi.
The singer adopted David Banda, 3, from an orphanage in 2006.
‘It's something I have been considering, but would only do if I had the support of the Malawian people and the government,’ she says.
‘Many people - especially our Malawian friends - say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister.’
Madonna, 50, is also mum to Lourdes, 12, with Carlos Leon, and Rocco, 8, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, 40.
‘Everything between [me and Guy] is very amicable,' she adds.
'We both agree that our children should always feel a deep connection with both their parents.
‘It is our responsibility to give them that foundation.’
Madonna has been linked to Brazilian model Jesus Luz, 22, since they appeared in a W magazine photoshoot in December.
