Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller have become parents to twin boys.

The real estate agent, who was hospitalised with early contractions last month, gave birth on Saturday night.

The couple have named the newborns Max and Bob.

‘They're doing great,’ his rep Stan Rosenfield tells People. ‘And Brooke's doing great. They are very happy.

‘Charlie's a family man – now he has three daughters and two sons. He's a wonderful father.’

Charlie, 43, and Brooke, 31, tied the knot in May 2008.

The actor is already dad to Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and Cassandra, 24, with ex Paula Profit.
