When Jordan moved to Hollywood a month ago, she couldn’t wait to rub shoulders with the rich and famous. But rather than becoming a fixture on LA’s social circuit, the former glamour model has kept a surprisingly low profile.
Jordan, 30, has become increasingly lonely and frustrated as she struggles to adapt to life on America’s West Coast. Last week, the situation intensified when she broke down in floods of tears at the rented mansion in Malibu she shares with husband Peter Andre, 36.
A source tells Now : ‘She had a really low moment after Pete came home from a long day at the recording studio. It was late at night and she’d been watching an entertainment show that featured scenes from a glitzy Hollywood event. Loads of people Jordan knew were there, but she hadn’t been invited.’
Publicly, Jordan maintains that she has precious little time to go out to showbiz parties because she’s too busy with work, such as her reality TV show, and looking after her three children Harvey, six, Junior, three, and 20-month-old Princess.
But insiders tell a different story. A source reveals Jordan’s been bombarding Paris Hilton, 28, with text messages and phone calls since she arrived in LA – most of which have been ignored.
‘Paris has been deluged with messages from Jordan, who thought she’d be spending loads of time with her in LA after they met up in London last year,’ says the source.
‘Paris may have said nice things about Jordan in public at the time, but privately she described her as annoying and desperate.'
