Cheryl Cole had tea with Gordon Brown last night.

The Girls Aloud singer met the Prime Minister at Downing Street.

Cheryl, 25, was joined by eight other stars who scaled Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief.

The group, including Kimberley Walsh, 27, Denise Van Outen and Fearne Cotton, 27, and Gary Barlow, 38, raised £1.5million from sponsorship for the climb.

Gordon, 58, vowed to donate a further £2million to combat malaria in Tanzania.

‘It was privilege to meet the PM,’ Gary tells The Sun.

‘If the money raised can help control malaria and also help poor and vulnerable people in the UK it will all have been worthwhile.’
