Rihanna steps out for first time since 'assault'

Singer parties in Coco de Ville in Hollywood

Rihanna turned 21 on February 20

Rihanna has been snapped enjoying a belated 21st birthday party in Hollywood.

The singer has been keeping a low profile since it was alleged her boyfriend Chris Brown, 19, assaulted her before the Grammys last month.

Rihanna hung out with pals in the VIP section of Coco de Ville on Tuesday.

‘She looked good and was smiling and laughing,’ an onlooker tells People.

Rihanna, who is rumoured to have got back with Chris, was also presented with a pink cupcake tower covered in candles.

Meanwhile, Chris has pulled out of the Kids Choice Awards, which takes place next month.
