Mel B: I’m having hypnotherapy to calm my nerves

Singer is worried about her new Las Vegas show

Mel B married Stephen Belafonte renewed their wedding vows in Egypt in 2008

Mel B is getting hypnosis so she doesn't forget her lines when she's on stage.

The former Spice Girl is set to appear in Peepshow, a Las Vegas theatre production.

‘I’m seeing a guy called Anthony Cool, who performs a show at Vegas too,’ she says.

'I’m doing this just in case I get any last-minute nerves – you know, in case I can’t remember the lyrics or the moves.

'He’s going to hypnotise me as soon as I get there.’

Mel negotiated her four-month acting deal with the help of husband Stephen Belafonte.

'It's great to work with someone you're married to,' she says. 'And I can shout at him too!

'Because we are so close, it never gets to the screaming and walking out stage - we just know how we both tick and we can push each other's buttons.'

Mel, 33, and Stephen, 33, tied the knot in June 2007.
