Rihanna and Chris Brown should speak to a therapist, reckons Oprah Winfrey.
The US chat show queen is dismayed that the couple are reportedly back together – just weeks after an ugly incident before the Grammys.
Oprah reckons they need to work through their problems before even thinking about reconciling.
‘Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I was your friend, I would call you up and I would say, “Give it some time, get yourself some counselling, take care of yourself,”’ she told viewers.
‘Heal yourself first. Also, love doesn’t hurt. I've been saying this to women for years: “If a man hits you once, he will hit you again.”’
Oprah, 55, is well aware that domestic violence affects millions of women.
‘It makes me so sad that I said to the producers, “I want to do a show about it this week dedicated to all the Rihannas of the world,”’ she announced.
Oprah’s not the only celeb to offer advice - Jack Osbourne, 23, reckons Chris has no excuse for his alleged actions.
‘He’s not an alcoholic or messed up,’ he tells the Daily Express. ‘When you’re a 19-year-old R&B singer, it’s like, “Dude, come on!” I’m not judging, but really?’
Chris, 19, has been charged with assault and making criminal threats.
