Vanilla Ice dated Madonna for eight months

Vanilla Ice has recorded a video apologising for recording hit single Ice Ice Baby.

The rapper, real name Robert Van Winkle, reckons it spawned a whole new genre of music and style, which he’s not proud of.

‘I’m sorry,’ he says in the YouTube clip. ‘Even though Ice Ice Baby sold over 40million copies worldwide.

'I’m sorry for the hairdos, the baggy pants, the scandals and I’m sorry about the music.

‘I was young, manipulated and I was a puppet.’
