Cristiano Ronaldo has donated £100,000 to the hospital that saved his mum’s life.
The Manchester United hunk, 24, has written out a cheque for the Portuguese League Against Cancer charity.
It will be used to help build a specialist centre at Hospital Central in his native Madeira.
Cristiano’s mother Dolores Santos, 54, was treated there in 2007 when she found a lump in her breast.
She underwent a sucessful course of radiotherapy and still takes anti-cancer drugs to stop the disease returning.
‘Cristiano is eternally grateful to the doctors and nurses who saved his mum's life,' a pal tells the Sunday Mirror.
