Gloria Estefan almost became a spy.

The Cuban-born singer claims she was approached by the CIA while she was working as an interpreter at Miami Airport.

The secret service wanted Gloria, 52, to utilise her language skills to become an undercover agent.

‘They realised I was someone who could pass as a regular person without raising any eyebrow,’ she tells The Sun.

‘So the CIA approached me and wanted me to train in their Atlanta HQ.’

But Gloria was talked out of it by her mum Gloria Snr.
