Girls Aloud star had anti-sickness jab
Friday, 6 March 2009
Cheryl Cole fell ill on the fifth day of her charity trek for Comic Relief.
The Girls Aloud singer and nine other celebrities are scaling Mount Kilimanjaro.
‘Cheryl Cole was struck by altitude sickness, as Fearne Cotton had been the night before,’ fellow camper Gary Barlow, 38, tells The Sun.
Cheryl, 25, admits it will be a struggle to get to the top of the 19,000ft peak.
‘The fun is over,’ she writes on her blog. ‘This is unquestionably the hardest thing I have ever done.’
Chris Moyles, Denise Van Outen, Ronan Keating and Kimberley Walsh are also taking part.
