Karl Bishop to spend a minimum of 20 years in jail

Karl Bishop denied killing Rob Knox

The thug who murdered Harry Potter star Rob Knox has been given life.

Karl Bishop stabbed the actor five times outside a bar in Sidcup, south-east London, in May 2008.
 
The 22-year-old will serve a minimum of 20 years before being considered for parole.

Bishop was also given three further life sentences for wounding Rob's friends.

Rob, 18, plays Marcus Belby in the forthcoming Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.
